Hello and welcome to Families and Babies

Thank you for choosing Families and Babies (FAB’s) antenatal breastfeeding course. We want to give you the information and confidence to enjoy breastfeeding your baby (and all from the comfort of your own home!) We would love it if your partner or other supporters joined you in your journey, that way they can help to support you in the early days.

As you work through this course you will learn about

  • How breastfeeding works
  • How to hold your baby for breastfeeding
  • How to know if it’s going well
  • What to expect in the early days
  • How to express and store your breastmilk
  • Some of the benefits of breastfeeding
  • Frequently asked questions
  • Where to get support

And lots more.

FAB is a charity that is commissioned in some areas of the UK to offer breastfeeding support alongside midwives and health visitors. We have a team of trained peer supporters who are all mums who have breastfed their own babies and are passionate about helping other mums to breastfeed.
